WHY UNAPOLOGETIC?
I’m so bored of being apologetic for stuff I shouldn’t be. You know? Women are made to feel like just about anything we do or say deserves a preemptive apology on our part - an explanation, until it sounds like all we are doing is just apologizing for existing.

I’m bored of stumbling over myself to explain why I am or am not doing something. Let's be done with that! Let's do what we need, and be unapologetic about it. Maybe it’s, “I’m not sorry that I choose to juggle working from home with raising my babies, “ or, “I’m not sorry that I chose to not work, and just focus on my kids. “ Maybe it’s, “I’m not sorry I have five kids that I am carting to Costco with me,” or “I’m not sorry I am choosing to have no kids at all. “ How about, “I’m not sorry I ask my husband to mutually compromise, so we can both be passionate about and fulfilled by our dreams.” Or “I’m not sorry for breastfeeding in public, “ or “I’m not sorry I’m choosing formula to feed my infant. “ Could be a simple, “I’m not sorry for speaking up for myself, “ or “I’m not sorry for saying no to something I didn’t want to do in the first place. “ There are just so many reasons to not be sorry, my friends!
